Wonderful luxury 6 BR home just a short walk to the beach with a private pool. The home has an open living room and plenty of parking for the entire family. The kitchen comes fully equipped to meet your family's cooking needs while boasting stainless steel appliances and custom cabinetry. It was completely re-imagined and renovated in the Spring of 2022. The large kitchen island has seating for four. The kitchen opens to the formal dining area with a large table comfortably seating ten. Adjacent to the dining area is the family room with a new L-Shaped Couch, two accent chairs and mounted flat screen tv. Parking is limited to four cars in the driveway, only four car passes will be issued. There are two driveways so plenty of room to park. Your reservation includes bike rentals and beach gear with every stay. 1 Cockle in Palmetto Dunes is professionally managed and operated by Hilton Head Vacations, Inc, a locally owned company. STR permit number is 075528
Bedroom One has a King bed, slider access to the private pool, flat screen tv and newly renovated en-suite bathroom. The en-suite bathroom contains a double vanity and luxurious over-sized walk-in shower. The second and third bedroom have Queen size beds, flat screen tvs and share a Jack & Jill style bathroom. The fourth bedroom has a Queen bed with an en-suite bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. The fifth bedroom features two twin beds and a flat screen tv. The sixth bedroom is located upstairs and has a daybed with a trundle.
Outside you'll fall in love with your large private pool, new hot tub, dining and lounging areas! The Beach is easily accessed by a nearby beach path that takes you over one portion of our Palmetto Dunes lagoon system!
Palmetto Dunes offers miles of shaded bike paths, an 11 mile lagoon system to kayak and fish in, three championship golf courses and one of the best tennis and pickle ball facilities on the island. Palmetto Dunes is one of the most popular family resort destinations on Hilton Head and in the US. Palmetto Dunes is also home to two oceanfront hotels, the Marriott Oceanfront Resort and the Omni, both of which have restaurants and bars on site. The home is within easy walking distance to the Omni.

We had a wonderful stay at 1 Cockle Court in Palmetto Dunes! The house was incredibly spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of 10, with plenty of room for everyone to relax without ever feeling crowded. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, which made cooking at the house very convenient. The location was another highlight. The beach was less than a 10-minute walk away, making it easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. We also appreciated the complimentary beach gear credit, which we used to rent five bikes. Riding around Palmetto Dunes was one of our favorite parts of the trip. The private pool and jacuzzi were fantastic after a day at the beach and were enjoyed by everyone in our group. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to larger families or groups visiting Hilton Head.

For our family's first visit to Hilton Head Island, the house and accommodations at 1 Cockle Court was perfect! Close to activities that we enjoy such as golf, and pickleball, we were delighted. House amenities were as described and the HHV office was very responsive to our questions and inquiries. I highly recommend HHV for a stay on the island. We would definitely book with them again.

The house was perfect for our large group. Plenty of bedrooms and the open living room/kitchen/dining room area was perfect to relax and hang out. We also enjoyed the outdoor space as well as the pool and hot tub. Robert and his team were excellent to work with from booking all the way to check out. We’ve stayed in this house before under different management, and now with Hilton Head Vacations, and it is now MUCH better stocked and ready for a big group! The kitchen had everything you could think of, an abundance of utensils, and the pool towels were an excellent addition! Another week filled with family memories in a great house!

The house was BEAUTIFUL. It was large enough to accommodate everyone for our trip. Beds were comfy, kitchen was fully stocked and they left a TON of towels and other things to get you through the week. Pool was refreshing. We will be back!

The home itself is immaculate with coastal charm. The open floor plan allowed natural light to flood the space, and every room was thoughtfully designed to maximize comfort. The fully equipped kitchen made cooking a joy, though the nearby restaurants were so tempting, we had to try a few! The outdoor spaces were the real highlight. We spent mornings sipping coffee admiring the landscaping, afternoons lounging by the private pool, and evenings enjoying cocktails in the hot tub under a blanket of stars. Beach access was just steps away, making it easy to transition from poolside relaxation to long walks along the shore. The location is perfect—secluded enough for peace and quiet, but close to Hilton Head’s best attractions. Whether you’re into golf, shopping, or water sports, everything is just a short drive away. This property is more than just a rental—it feels like a home. The hosts went above and beyond, ensuring every detail was perfect, from the plush linens to the thoughtful welcome package waiting for us upon arrival. I can’t recommend this property enough for families, couples, or anyone looking for a luxurious coastal escape. We’re already planning our return trip!
